NFT enthusiasts would be familiar with Imaginary Ones – a collection which took just four minutes to mint it during its public mint back in 2022.
Its unique art and project success also caught the attention of HUGO BOSS, which led it to be the first Asia-born NFT project to partner with an international fashion label.
New advisor and investor announcement
Earlier today, Imaginary Ones announced that it has onboarded Kuek Yu-Chuang, who is currently the Vice President at iQIYI, as their strategic advisor and investor. Kuek was also the Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Netflix. With Kuek’s support, Imaginary Ones is looking to make headway into the entertainment industry.

Clement Chia, Co-Founder of Imaginary Ones, shared, “Our dive into TV and film is more than a venture; it’s a manifestation of our vision for transformative storytelling. Collaborating with Kuek elevates our mission, enabling us to craft content that not only entertains but leaves a lasting mark in the entertainment world.”
Ambition in the entertainment and gaming space
Other than its ambition in the entertainment industry, Imaginary Ones is also pushing into the casual gaming space in its bid to reach more mass audience.
The brand recently launched a beta test of “Bubble Rider”, a runner mobile game which allows player to collect bubbles and cover as much distance as possible to earn points. Over 200,000 users signed up for its pre-launch.
