Despite the bear market, Web3 has been making partnerships with Web2 companies at an astounding pace. From Polygon being chosen as part of Disney’s accelerator program to Avalanche’s partnership with Amazon Web Services to scale it’s blockchain, the utility of Web3 has begun to shine even brighter.
But scaling solutions aren’t the only partnerships being made in Web3.
Marked by Valentine’s Day, Vogue Singapore celebrates love and connectivity in the age of the metaverse with ‘From Blockchain to Love Chain’—an immersive campaign exploring the new age of connectivity.
8SIAN is a Web3 brand that aims to represent Asia in the Web3 space whilst also empowering Asians to be proud of their heritage, culture and upbringing. They are best known for their main collection, which feature 8,888 NFTs celebrating Asian women .
Through their partnership, Vogue Singapore and 8SIAN aim to deliver the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift that will last forever on the blockchain.
The project, titled “Love Chain”, come in sets of two unique designs, which holders can gift to a loved one in order to participate in quests together during Vogue Singapore’s Fashion New World event, beginning on the 15th of February.
By completing quests, you and your loved one can unlock special prizes, which include access to future campaigns, subscriptions to Vogue Singapore, digital wearables and more.
Minting of Love Chain NFTs will begin tonight (13th February) for those on their access list, and tomorrow (14th Feb) for the general public at 0.022 $ETH each.
Not 8SIAN’s First Partnership
While collaborating with a huge brand is usually the pinnacle of many NFT projects, partnerships are nothing new for 8SIAN.
Throughout 2022, 8SIAN was actively collaborating with various brands such as Royal Selangor, Tatler Asia, Shop Cider and Khoon Hooi. This culminated in 8SIAN working with Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo to create customizable merchandise in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day, Merdeka.
With major partnerships and continued building despite the bear market, 8SIAN continues to make a name for itself not just as an NFT collection, but as a brand.
