Scheduled for September, Ethereum Singapore 2023 aims to gather builders, developers, and visionaries from around the world.
The 3-day event will feature a carefully selected array of thematic areas, including decentralized finance, infrastructure, and layer 2 technologies, among others, designed to encourage and develop innovative solutions with meaningful impact.

Open-Sourcing Communities At ETH Singapore
The event’s theme, “Infinite Garden City”, embodies both Singapore’s reputation as a green nation and Ethereum’s ever-developing, organic growth in Web3, and aims to cultivate local impact in the non-profits and public goods space.
Furthermore, the conference will also feature an open source hackathon, where participants will have to figure out innovative solutions to problems faced by local communities. The best solutions will then be published globally in an open-source playbook to assist communities worldwide.

Taking place at the National Gallery Singapore, more than 2,000 developers are expected from all across the world in addition to the over 9,000 members currently in the Ethereum Singapore community.
During the event, participants will be able to explore different sectors of Web3, including those catered toward decentralized finance, infrastructure, security, L2s, and even builders and students. Workshops will also be conducted, alongside technical talks to facilitate the local crypto scene.

Interest in Crypto Remains Strong Amidst Bear Market
While the markets remain volatile, there has yet to be a slowdown in the number of crypto conference throughout the year. This month alone will be host to over 25 such conferences, such as NFT LA and Paris Blockchain Week Summit.
ETH Denver, a one and a half week long conference that included hackathons, talks, and workshops, recently concluded, and saw thousands of attendees from all over the world. Notable speakers such as Vitalik Butern, co-founder of Ethereum, and Stani Kulechov, founder and CEO of Aave, were also in attendance.
Despite depressed prices, the over 120 confirmed conferences occurring in the next few months are a positive sign that the industry is continuing to grow and innovate at an unprecedented pace.
